Nope, I still see a tweaked out junkie singing, can’t unsee it.

I love PMJ. Mad World with Haley and Puddles is one of their best. Robyn is also a good one.

They’re coming to my home town this October. Still thinking about it. $30 and I have to drive 3 hours home. Also going to concerts alone sucks. My family hates covers and none of my friends can get into it.

I dig most of the PMJ covers, and I love me some Soundgarden... but I’m not feeling this.
She has a voice that sounds like about a billion other female singers right now - kinda this fainty, weak-chested midrange. I hear it everywhere lately, and I don’t like it. It’s a style that lends itself to lounge singing and folksy stuff, but it just carries as much impact as a wrung-out sponge. I’m sure this lady is talented, but this style irks me. Her range is impressive, but that’s about it.
This cover was too lounge-y. Shoulda gone a completely different route with it.

My top 3 are Robyn, Puddles, then Haley. All are great.

Really can’t go wrong with any of them, I do like Robyn a lot. Hell, I like them all a lot.

It’s hard to pick a favorite, but I feel like Haley gets most of the attention. But she’s also deserving of it. But Robyn can do the Spanish and Yiddish ones too. It takes skill to sing in different languages.

NO PUDDLES = NO LIKE. BLEH!
Just kidding. Seriously, this is a fantastic performance. Great stuff!
